Candidates are listed as recommended by Kansas NEA’s political action committee, or KPAC, after they submit questionnaires followed by interviews conducted by KPAC members from the district they represent. Based on the answers given, KPAC members create the recommended list to reflect KNEA’s support for the candidates who best reflect the commitment to all areas of public education, regardless of their party affiliation. The full list is approved by the member-elected Kansas NEA board of directors.
