URGE SENATE TO ACT on flexible stimulus & Stabilize School Funding: support the HEROES ACT!
Even if you took a similar action last month, we really need you to “TAKE ACTION NOW” again!
As with every state in the United States, the pandemic crisis is expected to have a deep impact on our state’s budget. With staggering unemployment and a sharp decline in tax revenue, the Kansas budget and certainly funding to our schools will be affected. We need to tell our Representatives in Congress to pass new legislation that will send at least $175 Billion to help states like Kansas to “back-fill” budget holes and stabilize school funding.

Now that you’ve added your name to the petition, nothing really beats a direct phone call where Kansas Senators can hear your voice. Call right now using the numbers located beneath the senators’ pictures on this page and tell them that you urge them to vote for flexible stimulus funds to backfill our budget and stabilize school funding.

Step 4: share with others
